Steve Paterson is the founder of Buckstone Solutions, which has been in business since 2002.

He has over 15 years experience of customer service, mainly with a multinational company. As well as resolving individual customer complaints, Steve has developed processes for complaint handling and letter writing and regularly gave presentations on the work of his company. He has a particular passion for good clear presentation in letters and documents, which he now applies to websites.

Over the years he has also developed his talents in photography, initially in 35mm film but now digitally and his photographs have appeared in various publications as well as websites.

During the late 1990s, Steve was instrumental in the leadership of a team developing computer software and processes to interface between customers and several competing companies in the telecommunications market.

He left to spend some time exploring the other side of the world getting a suntan, observing the rather different sky at night and watching the water go down the plughole the wrong way.

After returning to Scotland he set up Buckstone Solutions to provide an economical and professional web design and presentation service. Steve strongly believes that a presentation, whether web-based or in other media, should be focused on what the customer needs rather than a demonstration of the cleverness of the designer or presenter.
